We are currently working with an established and growing company based in Northampton who are looking for a bright and team focused administrator to join their team! Working 8.30am-5.30pm Monday – Friday.

In this role you will be supporting a busy sales department, making processes as efficient as possible and assisting with business growth by proving to be an effective support resource. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a driven candidate who’s keen to gain experience working within an established sales team.

The role:

  • Maintain company databases
  • Process sales orders
  • Accounts administration
  • Handling of invoices and purchase orders
  • Queries to customer accounts and general enquiries
  • Be main contact for incoming calls
  • Responsible for meeting rooms and greeting visitors
  • Process of returns and handle any customer issues
  • Filing, incoming and outgoing post and archiving of paperwork
  • General ad hoc administrative tasks

The person:

  • Desire to continue with self-development within an administrative role
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • An interest in sales
  • Experience with Word and Excel
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Works with consistent accuracy and care
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
