Job Overview

You will be responsible for driving the business forward , working with new and existing clients, building strong foundations and continuously promoting the professional services of the business.

Responsibilities for Sales Manager Events

· Build and develop client relationships.

· High Performance attitude and drive; Entrepreneurial approach.

· Creative & inquisitive; outside the box thinker with an open mind.

· Good time management abilities and capable of meeting deadlines.

· Manage specified key accounts.

· Implementation of the sales plan, through the application of proactive sales and team work.

· Strategic and tactical market development.

· Ensure that the Company’s terms and conditions, payment terms and authorisation regulations are complied with.

· Explore and develop new opportunities in accordance with the sales plan.

· Prepare accurate project pre-calculations for review by the Sales Director.

· Ensure standards of presentation and the protection of the Company reputation are maintained at all times.

· Constructively challenge existing sales practices and take a collegiate approach to continuous sales improvement.

· Represent the Company at hospitality events and other relevant occasions.

· Maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times.

Qualifications and Skills for Sales Manager Events

· Proven track record in exceeding sales targets

· Back ground in the events industry or construction industry is an advantage but not essential

· Exceptional organisational abilities.

· Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

· Problem solver and ability to work independently and as part of a team

· IT skills – must have competent PC skills, particularly experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Experience using SAP software, if not training will be given.
