We are looking for an experienced IT Technician who would enjoy a perfect blend of IT support and Audio - Visual assistance that makes no two days are the same ! This is an exciting, creative and dynamic role with a 100 strong team in a purpose -built factory with fantastic equipment and resource.

Our client creates engaging exhibition stands for their clients through out the UK and Europe to achieve and enhance the results when exhibiting at trade shows. The company's unique formula and focus on visitor engagement has lead the way in pioneering exciting new ways to enable clients to tell their story with investment in technology and digital content creation skills is setting them apart from their traditional rivals.

Projects are predominantly delivered in the UK with some in the EU or further afield.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver 1st & 2nd line support for IT users, IT infrastructure & services
  • Pro actively assist the IT Director in the implementation of new IT services
  • Promptly respond to IT support incidents
  • Ensure all legal compliance for IT systems within the supported services scope
  • Monitor IT systems/services & ensure their proper function and security
  • Maximise the effectiveness of IT systems/services
  • Pro-actively assist in the identification of existing or potential problems & recommend action to resolve
  • Update relevant IT records & logs per agreed processes
  • Ensure all internal systems (CRM & ERP) and databases are updated in a timely and accurate manner
  • To work as necessary in support of the customer facing of equipment and some on-site installation and support
  • Participate in internal and external meetings where attendance is required


  • A proven track record in an IT support role

  • Strong communication skills ( verbal and written )

In depth working knowledge of the following:

  • Microsoft Windows based systems
  • Microsoft server based systems (e.g Active Directory, DHCP, etc)
  • VMWare or similar virtualised server environments
  • Apple Mac based systems
  • Microsoft Office 365

Working knowledge of:

  • Firewall & network switch administration
  • IP Telephony systems
  • ERP systems
  • CRM systems

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or SugarCRM
  • Linux experience
  • Experience setting up and supporting Audio Visual equipment


  • Relevant Microsoft certification in server and desktops desirable
  • Relevant certification in IT systems and support

Position Offer:

  • £27,000 dependant on experience
  • 31 days annual leave + 2 days good attendance days
