Temporary Administrator (Urgent – ASAP Start!) – Northampton Town Centre

 

We are currently looking for a detail focussed and experienced Administrator to join an international award-winning organisation based in the Northampton Town Centre. This is a temporary office-based role lasting until September, working full time hours Monday – Friday (9am-5pm), starting asap, therefore you would need to be available immediately! This role is paying £12 per hour.

 

The ideal candidate thrives in a busy environment, is a focussed and versatile individual whose able to use their own initiative with the ability to adapt and provide administrative support where required.

 

The role:

  • Handling incoming post and deliveries
  • Answering incoming calls and email queries, and directing to relevant members of staff
  • Scanning of invoices
  • Cash handling and processing income following the company's financial procedures
  • Archiving and uploading documents and keeping internal systems up to date
  • Maintaining meeting room calendars, arranging catering and ensuring all meeting rooms are set up when required
  • Support the HR department with the coordination of interviews
  • Collating and mailing of membership packs and campaigns
  • Following strict procedures and regulations whilst handling confidential information
  • Adapt and provide support where necessary

 

You:

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Able to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • CRM experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent communicator with good coordination skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of the MS Office Suite
  • Happy to adapt and provide administrative support where required

 

Further details:

  • Temporary role lasting until beginning / mid September 2024
  • Working 36 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
  • Fully Office Based
  • Paying £12 per hour
  • Town Centre location
  • Unfortunately, parking facilities aren't available on site
